Rescue dogs
My goal is to help rescue dogs feel safe and secure in their new environment. These dogs often come from completely unfamiliar circumstances, with no control over where they end up. Therefore, it is particularly important to me to make their transition to a new life as pleasant as possible. Each rescue dog is an individual with its own story and needs.
â
I affectionately call them 'Senfhunde' because they are shaped by various breeds, influences, and experiences – as if each one has added a little of their own 'mustard' to create the unique personalities they are.
A Good Start for Your Rescue Dog
âThe perfect start for your life together
01
Building Trust
Many rescue dogs have had difficult or no experiences with people and need time to build trust. Patience and empathy are essential in this process.
02
Reducing Fear and Stress
Sudden changes in the environment can trigger stress. To avoid escalations, it is important to address the dog's needs early on – prevention is better than cure.
03
Unknown Past
Write to me to give your dog the help he needs and book your introductory meeting now.
05
Identifying Health Issues
Health problems are not always immediately obvious. Close cooperation with the veterinarians is essential.
04
Socialization
Many rescue dogs have not had the opportunity to be fully socialised in our environment and need help to cope with everyday life.
06
Expectations of living together
Clear structures, routines, and guidance are essential for feeling safe. Basic skills such as house training and lead walking often need to be practised as well.
